marketing must change and how you can change with

As a recent McKinsey Article noted, the entire
paradigm of marketing is shifting radically now
and if you're looking for results from marketing,
it's clear we need to change our thinking about
how marketing and promotion is designed.

The Marketease.net program will provide you with
hands on experience with new marketing methods,
approaches and tactics, which can be immediately
successful or part of a long range program to
build revenue online and off.

The program is only $2.99 and includes a free

A Note from the Founder – Mike R. Jay, Master

Leadership and Wal-Mart

Wal-Mart is the world’s largest employer at 1.4
million employees and Wal-Mart's revenues
constitute close to 2.5 percent of GNP.

Interesting encapsulation of the overall Wal-Mart
effect here:

Wal-Mart is a barometer of a particular kind of
leadership that is motivated by natural causes.
They don’t advertise per se, so the people that
shop at Wal-Mart shop there in large part because
of their own design. While there are many
detractors to the Wal-Mart form of leadership, I
think it encapsulates some very important lessons
for leadership.

Back in 1999, I ran across this list from Sam
Walton, Wal-Mart’s founder and I think it’s one of
the best leadership designs I’ve seen.

The Top 10 BUSINESS Commandments from Sam Walton

This might be the world's shortest top ten, but
sometimes simple is better. When I saw these
keywords taken from Sam Walton, I felt like
sharing them with everyone as they sure will make
a difference if you follow them--he did!

1. Commit to your business.
2. Share your profits.
3. Motivate your partners.
4. Communicate all that you know.
5. Listen to everyone in your company.
6. Appreciate what your associates do.
7. Exceed your customer's expectations.
8. Control your expenses better than competitors.
9. Swim upstream.
10. Avoid conventional wisdom.

There’s a lot you can say about Wal-Mart, but one
thing you have to say is that they are a company
that may reflect more than any other company, the
alignment of natural values—which may not be
something we really want to admit.
